Pimiento de padron peppers from local Newtown farm

 

The Southwest Cafe in Copps Hill Common is participating in Farm to Chef Week.  They have some GREAT produce from small, local farms, including many varieties of CHILIES!

 

Here are some samplings from their special Farm to Chef Menu:

 

Cherry Grove Farm beet & goat cheese quesadilla with Halas Farm spicy tomato relish. 

 

Apple Ridge Farm Chicken Enchiladas with Cherry Grove Farm poblano chile sauce and beautiful red Swiss Chard

 

All dishes can be paired with wines by Newtown's McLaughlin Vineyards.

Other Ridgefield restaurants participating include:  Bernard's, The Perennial Chef and Terra Sole.
