Tonight's Hatch Chile Dinner at Southwest Cafe
If you don't have plans for tonight, Southwest Cafe will be hosting a Hatch Chile Dinner at 7 pm, and there are a few seats available. If you are interested, please call 203/431-3398 for reservations.
Barb, owner of the Southwest Cafe, has started receiving fresh Hatch Chiles from her favorite farm in New Mexico and has created a wonderful menu around these chiles. No. 109 Cheese and Wine has paired some fun South American wines to accompany this wonderful meal.
Dinner Menu:
First Course: Grilled polenta, Stewed Hatch, Corn Crema, Queso Fresco served with a Special Hatch Margarita
Second Course: Crispy Pork Belly, Hatch Relish, Hatch Sabayon

Third Course:
Halibut, Mussels, Chorizo, Hatch Aioli, Hatch Broth
(Wine- Nativa Terra Carmenere Reserva 2009)
