Bernard's Author Luncheon will feature Linda Urbach ~ 'Madame Bovary's Daughter'

Bernard's Author Luncheon will take place this Thursday, May 17 at Noon and feature author Linda Urbach who wrote Madame Bovary's Daughter.

Finally, you will get the answer to the question that has been plaguing Francophiles for centuries. What ever happened to the only daughter of the scandalous Madame Bovary, literature's greatest dreamer and worst mother?

Engrossing, vivid, beautifully written, adventurous, and often heart-rending—a young girl finds her way from the depths of poverty to the top of the nineteenth-century French fashion world

Everything Old is New Again... On Main Street

What started in 2001 as Wild Ginger, expanded and changed through the years, finally becoming Maison Lee, and now is Wild Ginger again with the addition of Sushi on Main.

The Wild Ginger menu remains basically the Maison Lee menu... which was really just the original Wild Ginger menu.

The Sushi on Main menu offers a wide variety of sushi, sashimi and maki and hand rolls along with some special chef rolls including the Angry Roll, Tiger Eye Roll and Titanic Roll.  There are "no rice" rolls, salads and sushi rice and sushi entree dishes too.  The lunch specials of 2 maki rolls for $8 or 3 maki rolls for $10.50 both served with miso soup or garden salad or the lunch bento box for $9.50 is also offered daily from 11 am to 3 pm.

Although I haven't had a chance to dine at the "new" Wild Ginger, I'll probably be trying the lunch maki roll special soon... and I'll let you know what I think!
