Ridgefield Police stopped a Ridgefield man on West Mountain Road for traveling 54mph in a 30mph zone. An odor of marijuana was coming from inside the vehicle. The man admitted to police that he had been smoking pot. He was arrested, processed and released on $100 cash bond.
- Car passing school bus in East Ridge Middle School parking lot
A Ridgefield school bus driver came into the Ridgefield Police Station to file a complaint of a vehicle that passed her bus in ERMS parking lot while the the red flashing lights were on. Police investigation was performed and a Ridgefield woman was issued an infraction for passing a standing school bus.
