Ridgefield Library Has Packed Schedule on Saturday
On Saturday, February 11th, the Ridgefield Library has a full calendar. Two events of note are: the David Copperfield Film Screening and Discussion and the Workshop: Using Library eBooks.
From 10 am to 1 pm, the 1935 version of David Copperfield (NR, 131 mins) directed by George Cukor will be screened in the Dayton Program Room. A discussion led by Mark Edwards, Media Studies Department, Sacred Heart University, will take place after the screening.
This program is part of the Library's What the Dickens! series in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens. This series, which runs from December through March, is made possible thanks to the Wadsworth Russell Lewis Fund and the Friends of the Library. For more information about upcoming lectures, film screening, field trips and more visit our What the Dickens! webpage.

Note: Due to software restrictions, owners of some devices will not be able to transfer downloadable books to their devices inside the library. However, a staff member will demonstrate the steps and provide printed instructions on how to download from a home computer.
