On February 4th, 10:30 am, in the Dayton Program Room of the Ridgefield Library, there will be a Storytime with Deborah Freedman, author of Scribble and Blue Chicken, as part of Take your Child to the Library Day.
This special drop-in Storytime is for ages 3 and up.
Take Your Child to the Library Day is a state-wide initiative, spearheaded by two Connecticut librarians. It involves over 100 libraries in 12 states including Connecticut. The purpose of the day is to encourage families to introduce their children to the library, and to make families aware of library services and programs.
See a video clip from Good Morning Connecticut about this exciting new initiative (listen for a mention of Ridgefield Library right at the beginning!).
