Oliver Twist Lecture with Dr. Mark Schenker at the Ridgefield Library

On Thursday, January 12th from 7 to 8 pm, the Ridgefield Library is hosting part one, Oliver Twist (1839), of a three-part lecture series:  From Oliver to David to Pip: A Survey of Dickens' Development as a Novelist, by Dr. Mark Schenker, Senior Associate Dean of Yale College, in the Dayton Program Room.

This program is part of the Library's What the Dickens! series in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens. This series, which runs from December through March, is made possible thanks to the Wadsworth Russell Lewis Fund and the Friends of the Library.
