Threat to Students Evacuates School in Ridgefield

BREAKING NEWS ~ Tim Salem, the Principal of Scotts Ridge Middle School, sent a phone message to families of students this afternoon announcing that the school had been evacuated due to a bomb threat. With the help of the Ridgefield Police Department, the threat was determined not to be creditable, and the school day resumed after the disruption. He further announced that the false threat will not be taken lightly, and the Ridgefield Police along with Scotts Ridge Staff and Administrators will continue to investigate.
