The Friends of the Ridgefield Library's FALL BOOK SALE is Friday, October 21st to Monday, October 24th.
The Fall Book Sale will be in a NEW LOCATION: Yanity Gym on Prospect Street. That's good news for patrons and volunteers who braved the rain and cold temperatures at our last two book sales. But there are lots of books to move and set up so we could use your help. Set-up begins Tuesday, October 18th at Noon, continues all day Wednesday and Thursday, 9 AM - 3 PM. (A nice perk of setting up is that you get a sneak peek at all the titles on sale.) There are also NEW BOOK SALE HOURS:
Friday, Oct. 21 9 am - 8 pm, $10 entry 9 AM - noon (fee waived for Friends).
Saturday, Oct. 22 9 am - 5 pm.
Sunday, Oct. 23 12 Noon - 5 pm, all books 1/2 price.
Monday Oct. 24 10 am - 4 pm, $5 per bag- bring your own.
To help reduce the use of those pesky and pernicious plastic disposable bags, the Friends will be selling reusable bags sporting their new logo for only $2 each. You can also bring your own bags. Do either, and you will be entered in a raffle to win a $25 gift certificate good for the next book sale.
Congratulations to Natalie Huey, who won the BYOB raffle at the Spring Book Sale.
