Calendar of Events for Downtown Ridgefield's 12th Annual Holiday Stroll
Friday, December 2nd, 6 pm to 10pm
6 pm Information Tent ~ In front of Fairfield County Bank Insurance
6:15 pm to 9:45 pm Horse and Carriage Rides ~ Leaving from the Ridgefield Library. The Ridgefield Rotary Sunrise will be at the Library during the rides collecting donations (both non-perishable and monetary) for the Ridgefield Food Pantry.
6:30 pm to 9:30 pm ~ RMAC 'n Cheese ~ Live music, s'mores, mac 'n cheese and more in the Neumann Parking Lot
7 pm to 9 pm ~ Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Ballard Park Gazebo (beautifully-decorated by the Lions Club). Bring your own camera and wish lists.
7 pm to 9 pm ~ Movie NIght at the Boys and Girls Club. Children in 2nd grade and up will be about to enjoy pizza and a festive movie for $10. This is a drop-off program.
7:15 pm to 8:15 pm and 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm ~ A Christmas Carol at the Ridgefield Library. This production is suitable for children 5 and older.
Ice Sculptures ~ Deborah Ann's Sweet Shop, Town Hall and the Green next to The Toy Chest
Stolling Carolers ~ the Ridgefield Corale will be seranading guests along Main Street
Disc Jockey
6 pm to 10:30 pm There will be Shuttle Bus Service from Jesse Lee and East Ridge Middle School to Veterans Park Parking Lot
Saturday, December 3rd, 12 Noon to 7 pm
12 Noon to 7 pm ~ Gingerbread Festival at the Ridgefield Boys and Girls Club. $15 per child or $40 per family for making gingerbread ornaments, face painting, games, stories, gingerbread house demonstrations and much more.
1 pm to 3 pm ~ Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Ballard Park Gazebo (beautifully-decorated by the Lions Club). Bring your own camera and wish lists.
1:30 pm to 2:20 pm and 3 pm to 3:50 pm ~ American Magic-Latern Theatre will be performing. This program is suitable for children 6 and old.
4 pm to 7 pm ~ Horse and Carriage Rides ~ Leaving from the Ridgefield Library. The Ridgefield Rotary Sunrise will be at the Library during the rides collecting donations (both non-perishable and monetary) for the Ridgefield Food Pantry.
7 pm to 10:30 pm ~ The Stroll's Youth Event ~ RMAC hosts Driven for middle and high school students at Parks and Rec. Free music, food, drink and door prizes, including an ipad.
Strolling Carolers ~ the Ridgefield Corale and the Scotts Ridge Middle School Chamber Singers will be seranading guests.

All the above-listed events and many of the decorations are made possible by the generosity of the members of Downtown Ridgefield. Please consider shopping local this year.
Individual Merchant Events (incomplete at this time) ~
Craig's Fine Jewelry will be hosting their Thank You Holiday Party on Friday night 6 pm to 9:30 pm. Food, drink, trunk show vendors and 20% off all in stock merchandise. The trunk show, savings and merriment will continue on Saturday.
nancy O's will have free ornaments with any purchase (while supplies last), special discounts (to be announced), a sweepstakes drawing for a "warm-up" gift basket, containing an afghan, candles, mittens & scarf and refreshments throughout.
The Loft at Bissell's will have raffle for Byers' Choice 2011 Candy Cane Santa signed by Joyce Byers and $50 Loft Gift Certificate. Additionally, 30% Off all toys donated to Toys For Tots, tastings of our Holiday Foods, 20-30% Off Vera Bradley rolling luggage and other specials throughout the weekend.
Liberta's Spirit Shoppe will be tasting sparkling wine and eggnog on Friday from 6-9. On Saturday there will be a wine tasting. Don't forget to sign up for the raffle gift when you stop in.
Piccolo Pizza and Gelato Bar will be holding a "holiday stroll after hours party" for middle and high schoolers at our gelato bar. The party with some prizes and free hot chocolate and coffee will be from 8 to 11 on both nights of the holiday stroll. During those two days, we will be offering also a free cone with a scoop of gelato with the purchase of a pint. A large pizza + one pint of gelato will go for only $18.95 during the holiday stroll.
Touch of Sedona will have free intuitive readings from 12:45 pm to 1:15 pm on Saturday.
Century 21 Landmark Properties will be hosting coffee, hot chocolate and other goodies from 6 pm to 9 pm on Friday.
Practically Green will be having great in-store specials and raffles! They are proud to support the Evelyn C. Peeler Children's Holiday Gift Fund, and will donate a portion of our proceeds to this local charity that provides gifts and meals to Ridgefield children in need.
Books on the Common will be having a book signing with Jane Turner and Dozer, the dog who went to main street, on Saturday from 3 pm to 5 pm.
Neumann Real Estate will be serving refreshments and holiday cheer on Friday night from 6 pm to 10 pm.
