Northern Irish Singer Fil Campbell at the Ridgefield Library

On Sunday, October 2nd, at 2:00 pm, in the Dayton Program Room of the Ridgefield Library, Fil Campbell will perform as part of the Ridgefield Folk Series.

Northern Irish singer Fil Campbell comes from the border village of Belleek in County Fermanagh, and was brought up on the folk songs that were popular in Fermanagh and Donegal. She started singing semi-professionally while still at school and eventually returned to full-time performing in the 1990s after a spell working as a music publicist and radio presenter for BBC Northern Ireland.

The concert is free thanks to the Friends of the Library. Tickets can be picked up on the day of the show starting at 1:00 pm and doors open at 1:30 pm.
