The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art is offering Aldrich Insiders, a series of programs designed to offer our members special access to people, places and ideas that are at the center of innovative and influential contemporary art practices. Members at the Partner level and above receive a complimentary invitation to attend these exclusive events! All others are welcome to take part in a single tour or the entire series for a participation fee. Space is extremely limited, so register early!
Aldrich Insiders #1: Brant Foundation Tour in Greenwich is on Thursday, September 15th from 11 am to 12 pm in Greenwich. Members are invited to tour the latest exhibition at The Brant Foundation, which features a solo artist project by New York painter Josh Smith. The exhibition will include paintings by Smith from Peter Brant’s collection, in addition to new works produced onsite, where the vast area and singular light of the Foundation’s space gave Smith the opportunity to work on a large scale.
