Concert Happenings in Ridgefield Parks (C.H.I.R.P.) host two concerts in Ballard Park this week, Amy Speace on Tuesday, July 26th and The Greencards on Thursday, July 28th. Both concerts will begin at 7 pm.
Amy Speace returns to Ballard Park to celebrate her new CD, "Land Like a Bird." Amy, an American singer-songwriter, has a beautiful crystalline voice and a rare gift to enchant with simple lyrics.
The Greencards, a progressive bluegrass band mainly composed of Australians, have earned the respect of the bluegrass world by winning the Best Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2006 Americana Awards.
