ADRIA L. HENDERSON was born in New York City and received her Bachelors Degree in Communications from Queens College of the City University of New York. Henderson was a licensed private investigator in Connecticut for more than 20 years and worked within the legal community for more than 25 years as the owner of a legal resources agency. Ms. Henderson has written extensively on the subject of animal behavior and care, pet and wildlife legislation and the environment and was the author of a monthly pet column for The Newtown Bee and for Patch.com. She is currently a feature writer for The Pet Gazette of New York, Fairfield County, Westchester and Long Island. She has more than 30 years of professional experience in the training and care of dogs, cats, exotic birds, horses and other farm and domestic animals. Ms. Henderson has handled more than one thousand dogs and hundreds of cats, farm animals and exotic birds in her many years of professional animal care. She is a member of the Dog Writers Association of America and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and is currently a Commissioner with the Newtown Conservation Commission. She has lived and worked in the Newtown, CT area for more than 30 years
Joanna Kutler~ Day Tripping & Family Outings
Joanna loves to travel near and far with her family. Born to British parents, she traveled in Europe and the US while growing up. More recently, she lived overseas with her husband and two children in Tokyo, Japan, and traveled throughout Asia. OLGA ADLER is the principal of OLGA ADLER INTERIORS,an interior design firm in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Known for her fondness for simple forms, love of color and unique accessories, Adler has won acclaim for her refreshing approach to classic design. Her European sophistication and American sensibility shine in creations. “My approach to interior decorating is lifestyle-driven. Linda Keenan is the owner/broker of My Hometown Real Estate in Danbury, Ct. Her focus has always been on making the most out of what you have and saving money, considering herself a Home Economist. Linda has a varied background in the fields of Real Estate, Appraisal, Title Searching, Decorating, Organization, Writing, Law and Bookkeeping.
During her tenure as a Paralegal, Linda earned a Master’s Degree in History at Western Connecticut State University. She became an Adjunct Professor at Post University teaching History and Public Relations.

I am a retired elementary school teacher having taught in Newtown for 32 years. My wife and I have lived in Newtown for almost 45 years. We have two married children and 4 grandchildren. Since my retirement I have been keeping busy with baby sitting for grand children, doing volunteer work and writing weekly columns pertaining to all things Newtown for other media entities. I am now looking forward to making a weekly contribution to Newtown’s HamletHub.
