Fri. Feb. 10, 8am -- Snow in the forecast this weekend? Yes, according to the National Weather Service, which is calling for 1 to 3 inches of snow, predominantly falling Saturday morning in the Fairfield area. It will be gusty during that period as well, says the NWS, with winds as high as 28 m.p.h.

Saturday: Snow, mainly before 1pm. High near 37. North wind between 6 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Saturday Night: A slight chance of snow showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 19. North wind between 14 and 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Sunday: A slight chance of snow showers after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 32. Breezy, with a northwest wind between 16 and 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Sunday Night: A slight chance of snow showers before 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 17. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
