Norwalk-based CancerCare will be hosting a special Girls' Night Out fundraiser -- its 10th annual -- on March 1, from 7-10pm, at Lillian August, 32 Knight Street, Norwalk.

The band Miss Suzie’s Opus is to be featured along with fashion, food, wine-tasting and a silent auction. Food is being provided by Fairfield's Cinch Gourmet Market. Other evening sponsors include Fountainhead Wines, Fat City Pie Company, IMS Health, Melani Lust Photography, The Plumed Serpent, Hint Water, Serendipity Magazine, Jandali Plastic Surgery and The Cancer Treatment Centers of America. All funds raised support the work of CancerCare in Connecticut.

CancerCare is a national nonprofit that provides free professional support services to anyone affected by cancer: people with cancer, caregivers, children, loved ones, and the bereaved. CancerCare programs — including counseling, support groups, education, financial assistance and practical help — are provided by professional oncology social workers.

Event tickets are $75, with Gold Tickets for $100, which includes a VIP party. There is also a Platinum Package option for $750 that includes six Gold Tickets, reserved parking and special recognition in the program.

Tickets are on sale at www.cancercare.org/girlsnightout
